Founders Reserve is a 20‑year‑old Kentucky Straight Bourbon created to honor America’s 250th anniversary, inspired by Thomas Jefferson’s spirit of discovery. Finished in French Bordeaux wine barrels as a nod to his travels through France, this release is limited to 250 bottles, each numbered and hand‑signed by our founder, Trey Zoeller.

Before America was fully defined, Thomas Jefferson looked outward, traveling through Bordeaux in 1787 as United States minister to France learning about wine and agriculture, exchanging ideas, and bringing home knowledge to a young nation. 250 years later, his spirit of exploration continues to guide us at Jefferson’s, driving how we blend, age, and push bourbon forward.
