We recommend only buying Jefferson’s Bourbon at reputable retailers like liquor stores. Here are some other ways you can tell if you have an authentic bottle:  

• Check for signs of clear, high-quality printing on the bottle labels. If the label is askew or has errors, it may not be an authentic product.   
• Examine the liquid inside. Our bottles are always filled equally and sealed, with no debris in the liquid.  
• The whiskey shouldn’t have a strange smell or be an unusual color – if these signs are present, don’t drink it.
